And by the way, just noticing the post from Aviva . . .
Leafing through the new _University Affairs_ last night, I saw a
familiar face smiling at me from p. 25. "Aviva Freedman," the text
next to it said, "has been appointed Carleton University's third
Teaching and Learning Scholar. She will work on a three-year
project with the Teaching and Learning Resource Centre to dvelop and
enhance programs involving writing at Carleton."
Congratulations, Aviva. (And, as usual in these cases, consider
sympathy extended for the amount of work it'll probably entail.)
