Heh. I have mentioned the Internet and this list in particular many times - last year at the annual branches meeting, and in a paper sent to PDS HQ, to mention just two. I think the PDS (UK) is too screwed up internally to get anything done with the Internet on a corporate level. However, I hope to have a stand at this years SGM (in Bristol) which might raise the Internet's profile. I'm also doing web sites and CDs when I have time. If more people could mention the Internet to other people in the UK, that would be a really great help. Talk to council members. Write/phone head office (if you want contact names I can help). Convince them that this Internet thing is something they must pay attention to. I've even offered to do most of it for free for them - their total investment would be negligable. PS - I know PD CD is about 1 month late at the moment. My real job is becoming overwhelming, but the good news is we have developed a Web-building application for a client which I think I can easily turn to PD use very easily. But I am going to relax for couple of days before I start on that. (I saw the end stages of the total eclipse of the moon on my way back from work :-( ).
