Re the comments on Dr's Cream. Yes, we were warned to be ready for
"heat" and I suspect that is what helped my husband with his leg
cramps. It doesn't cure them but has helped to ease and shorten the
time. As you are aware, with Parkinson's, you can't get up that
readily to work it out by walking so the length of time of the severe
pain can be excruciating. He has also discovered that a residue
remains and after a hot shower it reactivates the cream's effect. Even
a warm washcloth, rather than putting on more cream. In fact, he does
not want to overuse so this is good to note. Also, if he becomes warm
during the night it also brings back the heat effect.

However, I have arthritis. It mentions arthritis on the jar. I was
having a difficult time with my knees and thought I would try. I was
very careful. Nothing .. no heat ... nothing. Next time I tried
rubbing in more. Still, no heat or any reaction. So I guess, like
everything else, we all differ and what may work for one does not work
for another. Of course, I do have what I call horse hide for skin.
