Hi! My husband has PD. There is no known diabetes in his family. My maternal grandfather had PD, no known diabetes in his family. My maternal great-uncle (brother-in-law of the maternal grandfather) had PD. Both of their PDs were attributed to much earlier viral illnesses. One of my cousins, niece to the great-uncle had diabetes. No other diabetes known in either my maternal or paternal relatives. Hope this will contribute to the database. Miriam L.
