Does anyone know if we might encounter any problems with the following
scenario?

My husband and I are renting a van for the family vacation. It will likely
have NJ license plates. We are taking my parents in the van. Dad has both
PD and a Pennsylvania DOT placard for handicapped parking (it's not attached
to a vehicle, but can be moved from car to car).

We are going to South Carolina (Myrtle Beach, to be exact). We will be
traveling through (at one time or another) Virginia, North Carolina,
Maryland, West Virginia, Delaware, and New Jersey (we're stopping at my
sister's house on the way home).

Will we have any problems using the placard and handicapped parking places
in any of those states?

Does anyone know who I should contact at the various states for information,
in the unlikely event that I don't get any information from this
well-informed group?

Thanks in advance. I'll be out of the office on Monday (4/22), so I'll
check my e-mail on Tuesday.
