Dear friends, My mother has been taking sinemet in liquid form for the last 3 years. Her original dosage was established with the help of Dr. Montgomery in Arizona. She now finds that the meds are not as effective as they had been and is looking for some insight on the best approach to adjust the medication. Is it better to increase the amount of sinemet dissolved for the day or is it better to taking the current strength and decrease the amount of time between drinking the medication? Does anyone have exprience with taking Permax in liquid form? Mom's current meds are as follows: Sinemet 5 25/100 pills dissolved in OJ every 24 hours. Amantadine 100mg 3 times a day Eldepryl 5mg once a day Amitriptyline 10mg at bedtime Best regards Bill Bell [log in to unmask]
