If > > so, how well? > > > > Peace. > > John > >John, The physiology professor here at the college tells me that fat soluble ones do cross the blood-brain barrier and even the water soluble ones do if the molecule is small, e.g. the glucose molecule passes the blood-brain barrier even tho water soluble because it is a small molecule. I will assume that means that vitamin E which is a good antioxident and fat soluble will pass the blood-brain barrier. Also vitamin C which is water soluble but is a smaller molecule than glucose will pass through the blood-brain barrier. Another excellent antioxident is a product called pycnogenol and a related material which is made from grape seeds is available in health food stores, however I know nothing about the molecular size.
