          For the survey-

          My father Bill, 78, PD +/- 5yrs - no known diabetes in his
          family.

          Mother, Sue, 76, no PD - maternal grandmother, plus a
          maternal aunt & uncle (both offspring of said grandmother)
          all adult onset diabetes  (all were also overweight, which
          has been mentioned as a complicating factor...)
