Gordon has had surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University,
Portland-the Oregon Medical group. The Fellow, Dr. Jacques Favre has

This hospital and surgeries were for us the modern medical miracle
they are hoped to be. Gordon never hesitated. "Go for it ,Doc", was what he
said. After, he pronounced the surgery, "Absolutely fascinating".
Re; insurance. Consult the hospital billing people--they know a lot.
Your carrier also. As they said to me in Portland it would be authorized
before you get here. Gordon has Medicare plus an Oregon PERS supplement.
Everything else, incidentally, is tax-deductible, except food, so keep track
of everything.
