Hello: My name is John Potter and I am here because I want to learn more about Parkinson's. My dad - 80 - was diagnosed a year ago and is now symptomatic. He is quite active yet - he and mom spent the winter in the southewest U.S. and drove(!) back to Rhode Island from Arizona 3 weeks ago. They live 400 miles from me. I am in the Finger Lakes area of New York state. I am here to learn about the disease and where to go for more info., what to expect, and hear from others with similar circumstances.
