Me too. That is, (a) tremendous thanks to Pat and Sandy, who were the most visible because they got stuck with the really evil tasks such as hounding recalcitrant Inkshedders to get their forms and cheques in on time (guilty!), as well as all the other people like Laura and Amanada and everyone else who I can't even identify because this was a truly collaborative experience in which all the people who worked on it lost "ownership" in the good sense of what that means. (And c'mon, Russ, you really did have to hike a long way to find snowdrifts more than a coupla inches deep. It's snowing lightly, wetly and horribly in Calgary at the moment; I think we got much better treatment from the weather deities in Winnipeg, who poured brilliant sunshine down on that frozen lake.) and (b) my presentation is up in rough and ready format at http://www.ucalgary.ca/~dabrent/webliteracies/intro.html There's other browsable stuff at the top of the html pecking order at http://www.ucalgary.ca/~dabrent as well, including some of the WAC stuff I was doing at Laurentian the day before. Mary-Louise: if you want something for the print Inkshed, you are not going to be able to use my presentation wholesale, obviously, because even if it were not too big, the whole point is that "native hypertext" looks really stupid in print. Feel free to pick what seem to you to be a few key nodes, though, and "construct me" in smaller form. You're welcome to the "10 ways for Inkshedders to make CCCC's more fun," too. Long live Hecla! On to whereever-it-is next year! Doug
