Dear Kathie, You wrote about trauma triggering Parkinson's symptoms. Yes, yes, yes. Maybe I would have gotten PD eventually but having emergency gall bladder surgery that made me tired, tired, tired and my left foot start shaking certainly hurried my diagnosis and entry into Parkinson Land. I've mentioned this before on this list and got several replies from others that had had a heart operation or a shock or the flu etc. One Doctor had even agreed that when the body is under stress it sometimes is weakened to the point of displaying and having PD symptoms.
