Hi folks, Thanks for all the potential life saving information on Demerol. I have checked with the Chemist (Pharmacy) and they tell me in the United Kingdom Demerol is sold as PETHIDINE. The pharmacist said it was an opiate and as it had a dulling effect on the brain SHOULD NOT be taken by PDers regardless of PD drugs taken. Looks like this drug is one to know and avoid by us people.
