Yes,
You don't have to use the mouse that much. I have problems with it, as I
pop things off with the
mouse that I didn't want to, but if you use the keyboard approach you only
have to hit one button
at a time . If you can't type, or never could, you can still do the hunt &
peck method. I click on
an Icon with the mouse & then just hit the ENTER key instead of trying to
click the mouse twice.
One of the problems being, besides the PD, is that I'm left handed & use the
mouse right handed,
so that creates a double problem.
Personally, and I say this with all my heart---I can't imagine living
without a Computer. Physically,
I have had to give up so much, and the Computer gave me back a BIG portion
of my life!!!
I'm on a QUILTNET as well as this PD NET & one for the American Libraries
Association.
I'm getting ready to set uip a web page for our quilt group on the Freenet
through the Library.
Without the Computer I'd be lost. Can't stand to watch TV and can only read
so long---but the Computer
and I have fun till 2 a.m. everymorning. I don't suffer from insomnia
anymore--I just stay up till I'm sleepy.
Also, I learned NEVER to take ANY pills after 7 p.m. Hey, it works for me!!!!

Many libraries have Freenets, which are indeed free. They have computers in
the library which
you can use free of charge & they have schedules for free lessons. If you
are physically able
to go to the library, the only reason you won't learn to use a computer is
because you don't
want to expend the time and energy necessary to learn. It's your choice!!!!!
Go learn and enjoy!!!! There is another world out there that can't see your
hand tremors & won't know
you have a problem unless you tell them!!!!
As Ever,
