Normally, I'd have thought that cooked dried beans would be much better than animal protein, as a 3-4 ounce serving has a high percentage of carbohydrate, whereas meat is almost 100% protein & fat. Also, regarding milk products, does whey make any difference? Whey is present as an additive in many processed foods.
