Tofu and tempeh seem to be OK, along with a little fish oddly enough. It is hard to separate these milk-based additives out to obtain a clear reading. This question occurred to me last night..if the protein is causing a less reliable response, it must be because less levadopa is reaching the brain. So the real issue here is not the amount of sinemet one uses in a day, it is the reliability of response. I tend to freak out when I need more meds, but if the real reason I need more meds is because I am actually getting less meds, I guess I can live with that. All this thinking because I really feel better with the Sun Chlorella added, and I am reluctant to stop using it if there is not a good reason. Kathie Tollifson [log in to unmask]
