My father, Tommy had a successful pallidotomy at Duke on 14 May. For the
first time in 23 years he is tremor free on his right side...and, an added
bonus, his left hand is also still about 1/2 the time!

Unfortunately...Daddy had a significant heart attack on the day following
surgery...the dotors are in a quandary as to what to do... He has had
triple bypass surgery several years alo...angioplasty 4 years aga...his
bypasses have worn down...and, while they would like to repeat
angioplasty, the threat of using anti-coagulants so soon after surgery
seems a hugh risk.

Has anyone been in or heard of this situation before? He is scared...and
so am I.
Thanks.....
