My mother cut out an article from our local newspaper re Alzheimer's and she asked me how we could be sure my father was suffering from PD and not Alzheimer's since some of the symptoms seemed so much the same. For example, my father often struggles to find the right word, gets depressed or irritable, complains of unusual thought patterns, sometimes has trouble stopping or starting movement.
