In the past four months I have broken two office chairs the exact same way = and=20 was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. In both cases t= he=20 chair cracked where the center column was attached to the base of the seat. The reason for the fracture wasn=92t difficult to figure out=97when my medi= cation=20 is off I have a tendency to rock from side to side and this was enough to= =20 cause metal fatigue on the joint over a period of time. So this is definitely going to be a consideration when purchasing office=20 chairs in the future.
