Ricky,

Please have your brothers wife call me. I would be happy to share our
Pallidotomy story with her. My wife Nancy had two unilateral P's done
by Dr. Gildenberg here in Houston. I am familiar with Dr. Grossman who
is a member of the Jankovic team doing these surgeries as part of the
Baylor College of Medicine program. The surgery is done at Methodist
hospital. We are friends with folks who have had their P by Grossman
and are doing great. Betty our friend is scheduled to go back and have
the other side done soon. One thing to remember is that P is not a cure
but it sure does help alleviate many of the nasty symptoms. By the way
if tremor is your brothers worst symptom, he may be better suited for a
thalomotomy. Grossman will know doubt discuss that.
