There's a discussion of the "inheritability" of Parkinson's in this month's National Parkinson's Foundation newsletter. Basically, it's not inheritable in the normal sense of "inheritable disease". It does sometimes seem to run in families. But for the most part, most people who get PD do not have relatives w/the disease. Or so current research seems to show. Joanne Sandstrom [log in to unmask]
