I too am trying to decide whether or not to make the Pallidotomy leap. Both
my neurologist and neurosurgeon say I am an ideal candidate because of my
age, sinemet side effects, and overall good health. But they are honest
enough to tell me that they don't know the answers to my questions-for
example, will this surgery keep me from being able to use any new treatments
that come along in the future. I would be interested in hearing from anyone
who has had Pallidal[sp] stimulation surgery as I think this is reversible.

agree that we need more input from our Post Pallidotomy friends. Hope
everyone who responds will do so to the whole group I'm sure that there are
other out there who are undecided. On the plus side at least we have
options-my good friend with MS would love to be in my shoes!
