Bob... my Oct. 24, 1994 pallidotomy took place at 2:00 p.m. at Loma Linda University Medical Center, and I was out of the hospital and back at work by 11 a.m. the next day. I took an a nap later that day for an hour or so and have been putting in a 7 day a week workweek ever since (Admittedly, I work out of my own home and can and DO rest if I feel the need). If it becomes necessary to have the surgery on theother side, I won't hesitate to have it done.
