Good luck to Don Jerome. Thirty-three years ago I planted myself in city hall to get a permit to occupy our newly built home. I outwaited the mayor (it helped that I had an infant son whom I didn't stop from crying) and got the permit. I hope Mr. Jerome gets his surgery. One "small" point--if he's having VIM stimulation surgery, it's not "experimental"; it's been done in Europe for nearly a decade and is being done here in the U.S.
