Hello all,

I caught this report on a local newscast. It was over before I could grab
a pen and paper. Fortunately the TV station has a web site, where I
requested more information, and was sent the attached script of the
report. Thought you all would find it of interest.

SOON!
Gaylon

     Hi Gaylon...

Here's the script from Irene's report.

        A UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA
     NEUROSCIENTIST SAYS HE MAY HAVE
DISCOVERED A METHOD TO SLOW THE
     PROGRESSION OF PARKINSON'S DESEASE.
        PAUL SANBERG TOOK SERTOLI CELLS
FOUND IN ANIMAL TESTICLES AND INJECTED
     THEM IN RATS WITH PARKINSON'S.
THE SERTOLI CELLS HELPED TO PROTECT
BRAIN CELLS THAT PROCUCE DOPAMINE, A
     SUBSTANCE THAT CONTROLLS BODY
     MOVEMENT.. IT'S LACKING IN PARKINSON'S
     PATIENTS.
        BUT RATS WITH PARKINSON'S THAT
     RECEIVED SERTOLI CELLS, IMPROVED.

Irene Maher, in her Health Report on Tuesday, had a story about a recent
discovery for the possible treatment of Parkinson's Disease. I would like
to have the details so i could look into it further.

Thanks for your help.
