A friend of ours, in her early 60's, has been diagnosed with atypical
PD, particularly because of little or no tremor. Her major complaint is
persistent low back pain which has been attributed to PD by one
neurosurgeon and to arthritis and a narrowed intervertebral disk
by another. She currently takes four 24/100 sinemet per day and
the pain is relieved for up to 1 1/2 hours after the sinemet "kicks in."
Betty would like to know if other PD patients have had a similar
experience and, if so, what has helped. Thanks for your input.
