The cat woke me up.
He dosen't know I have PD, he's just a kitten
and wanted to play. First things first, my hair
was a mess so he tried to fix it. I pulled the
sheet over my head. My finger smelled like people,
so it needed a bath. I pulled my hand under the
sheet and the cat followed. He discovered my nose.
Ok Zeb, I'm awake. Will petting do? I lifted my
hand untill further hight would require lifting
my elbow from the bed. My hand did not clear Zeb's
head. The kitten lowered it's head and walked back
and forth under my hand. I moved my leg to ease a
muscle and the kitten was off like an arrow.
I waited for the pain I was sure was comming.
Zeb landed on my foot with a thump, claws retracted,
and enclosed my foot in a vise like grip. When my
toe jerked in spite of my efforts to remain motionless
Zeb bit it, applying enough pressure for me to feel
his teeth through the sheet without causing pain.
When no further motion was forthcomming, Zeb walked
toward my head and collapsed on my right shoulder with
thud. His weight was enough to stop the tremor in my
shoulder. We both slept till the tremor became more than
the weight of a four month old Main Coon could counter.
