My mother was diagnosed about 1 year ago in Portland by a neuro doc who offered little help or support. She was traveling back east and had a few fainting spells and was worked up at Johns Hopkins, the PD group there suggested Dr. John Nutt at OHSU. He and his staff have been wonderful and helpful. They have answered a multitude of questions, referred her to PT and OT, Speech and an exercise group. If you are not happy with the people you are seeing this doctor and staff are great.
