Dear Marcia--great that you all survived, and even enjoyed the vacation! That took a super dose of courage+organization! Lots of good hints for others, for which, thanks. Has your dad been dxd with "orthostatic hypotension"--the kind of low blood pressure that causes one to fall when changing from sitting to standing? This is fairly common, and rising slowly seems to help. Peter has marginally low BP, but has not (yet) been put on florinef, the med for this. Hope you do get your fathe's problem solved. You know, I'm sure, that the PD meds can lower BP(Sinemet & Eldepryl).Last December, there was a long and detailed post on PD list about low BP, from Brian Symonds(MD) which discussed treatment with Fludrocortisone. Perhaps if you emailed him, he could send it to you? I only have it in hard copy. His address is <VBS@THE CENTRE.COM> Too bad we lost our archives!
