For those who are unsure where their representatives in Congress
stand re the Udall bill, in a separate msg I am sending a list of
all members of congress listed by state, flagged by whether or not
each is currently a cosponsor of the Udall bill. If you want to know
who to target from your state or other states, be sure to download
the msg.

Note that my total of 188 Rep cosponsors differs slightly from the
193 listed in the Thomas database, because Thomas includes the 3 Reps
who have withdrawn, and lists both the predecessor and the incumbent
for CA-15 and IL-2 (Mineta-Campbell; Reynolds-Jackson).

Remember it is particularly important to write to these five:

The Honorable Michael Bilirakis, Commerce Committee
    2240 Rayburn House Office Bldg.
    Washington, DC 20515

Congressman Bliley, Chairman of the Commerce Committee
    2241 Rayburn House Office Bldg.
    Washington, DC 20515

The Honorable Newt Gingrich, Speaker of the House
    2428 Rayburn House Office Bldg.
    Washington, DC 20515

Senator Nancy Kassebaum, Chairman of the Human Resources Committee
    Senate Russell Office Bldg. 302
    Washington,DC 20510

    Senator Trent Lott, Majority Leader
    Senate Russell Office Bldg. 487
    Washington, DC 20510

OUR GOAL: One post card to these 5 congressmen from every
Parkinson's patient, every caregiver, every husband, every wife,
every brother or sister, every significant other, every child and
grandchild (why not?), every doctor you see, every receptionist or
nurse or pharmacist, every other person you see who can sign their
name.

Send your mailing address to [log in to unmask] and she will send you
post cards for free. She also will send NEW CONVENIENT ADDRESS
LABELS. You only need write your name and return address and stick
a 20 cent stamp on it. The message is already printed on it on 1
side and the picture of Morris Udall - Representative from Arizona
for 27 years and now afflicted with PD - is on the other.

email [log in to unmask] or phone/fax 908-257-8074

N.B.: For Barbara this has been a labor of love. All she asks is
that you send her the amount of the postage on the envelope
containing your post cards to help her continue.

Best,
