Bob Martone and other Udall supporters, I have been giving some thought to
further steps we can take to both get a better handle on the NIH
reauthorization process and to hopefully get things moving.  I imagine that
each committee member may have a staff member assigned to either the Senate
or House committee, and that it is these folks who are hammering out the
details.  I would suggest that if a committee member is from is from your
state that you or your surrogate make a call to that staff person asap, and
ask questions on what's going on and report back to list.  That switchboard #
