Re: Copy of: Diet and Protein.

Dear Kathrynne,
Thanks for your speedy reply. As promised I forward details of my drugs and
diet plan.
I take Madopar 125 also known as Sinemet [log in to unmask],1@12,1@4,[log in to unmask]
Dopergine [log in to unmask],1@12,1@4,[log in to unmask]
           [log in to unmask],1@12
I also take ALVOCARDYL LP 160 for Blood Pressure [log in to unmask]
I also have some Madopar ,quick release at same strength which I use in
needy situations

Diet. I have read much about the effect of food stuffs and am still trying
to get a satisfactory regime. The greatest problem with any diet is the
need for self discipline and the availability of suitable foods when
travelling or visiting. So this is what I try to do.-
I eat as lightly as is possible at Breakfast and Lunch.I avoid almost
entirely protein.I also do not eat Dairy products where possible.
Sample breakfast-Porridge made with water and Honey or All Bran with Apple
Juice.A slice of bread with soya butter.
Sample Lunch -Pasta and a sauce ,of Veg and Toms. or aSoup with Veg and
Pasta.Fruit and maybe a digestive biscuit.
I spoil myself at night and eat Protein,Desserts.as if normal.
All this generally works quite well, but does depend on a fairly settled
regime and exercise.
It is vital that I do not become constipated hence the All Bran which is
good for me.
I do not have a very settled routine as I like to travel and I have lots
of visitors to enjoy my life here in France.
My worst time for off periods is usually in the late afternoon and I am now
finding it increasingly harder to do much physical effort.I have to rest
more often or I come to a full stop.
My symptoms are-
Initiating and sustaining movements.Cramping in the thighs.General tensing
of body.Sleeplessness..
Signal of loss of effectiveness of medication- Toes curl and cramp.

More to follow if you can bear it,
