With regard to the `Falling Too Often` series of messages, does the following
offer any help:
The Lancet, vol. 347 May 11, 1996 p.1337 reports on a German experiment with
22 PD patients using a metronome (set at 96 beats per minute) to assist
walking. Patients took longer steps and were quicker over a 40m course.The
number of freezing episodes was also reduced. Several patients expressed
interest is using a small electronic metronome for daily use for such
activities as crossing roads.
