from: Rosemary Russell ([log in to unmask]) No. Little Rock, Ark. --in re to the message concerning Rep. Blanche Lambert-Lincoln of Arkansas. She has been at her lake home in Ark. since giving birth to twin sons a few weeks ago and is not planning on returning to Washington until the fall. She has, however, according to an article yesterday in the Little Rock newspaper, been talking with her Washington office daily by phone and is planning to vote on issues by phone. I do not know her personally, but have sent letters concerning the Udall bill, as have my friends and family, to her Wash. office. I have not heard anything yet & am going to call her office on Monday. Since our governor resigned and the Lt. Gov. is now the Gov., all of our congressmen & senators (except Bumpers) are resigning /or resigning to run for a different office. This makes it more difficult, but we'll keep trying. Arkansas politics are, to say the least, colorful! ---------Rosemary Russell
