Since I wrote the request for information on memory, I came across the following reference: Scientific American, Sept., 1992; special issue "Mind and Brain": article entitled "Major Disorders of Mind and Brain" by Gershon and Rieder. I accidentally found this when I was giving away my old Scientific Americans. It is the best description I have seen of the relation among stress, depression, memory, and PD. Most any library will have it.
