Errrrrr... OBVIOUSLY this was not supposed to be posted here on the PD list.
SInce I responded diirectly via email to the original message, sent me by an
MSN employee, I'd say there was something SERIOUSLY wrong with The Microsoft
Network's email program!!!

Sorry to inconvenience anyone on the List.

Hi Tom...

Thanks for letting me... us... know about Kym's promotion. In the almost-a-
year I've seen known her online here on MSN, she certainly seems to have had
it "all together!" Expecially considering her online venue! WHEW!
Workin' with tons of teenagers all the time! <smile> (been there, done that,
and it's TOUGH!) <g>

I wish Kym every success, and if there's anything I may help her with during
this transition time, well, it'd be my pleasure to do so (and I MEAN that,
Kym!)

Subject: New Community Programming Producer

Greetings!

We are extremely pleased to welcome Kym Lukowsky as the new Community
Programming Producer to the Special Projects Team.

Kym comes from a very strong online background (over seven years), having
created her own business running multiple services on multiple platforms. She
has a strong business and managerial background, most recently having run the
Teen Forum on MSN, one of the areas with the highest traffic on the service,
with a 24hr staff of over one hundred staff and volunteers. She ran this
operation with personality and flair, handling all sorts of emergencies and
crises with calm, cool and organizational skill.

She is a consummate student of the medium and has a great sense of humor. She
understands MSN, where it is coming from, and where it is going as well as
anyone with whom I have spoken. (Okay, okay, I guess Bob Bejan DOES have the
best idea of where we're going!)

Kym has a team of three assistants who will be helping her with forum-related
content issues, ICP and CFM relationships, and the creation of an intelligent
and workable transition plan for forums and content partners to take us into
MSN 2.0. Kym will be circulating among show and service producers to assess
their online needs vis-a-vis community, chat, forum management, BBSs, and how
best to integrate these into the overall programming offering.

Kym will be resigning her position as Teen Forum Manager, and Gail Nicola will
be taking over in that role.
