This is Wendy Henry again. I'm writing this time to ask about weepy eyes in
Parkinsons patients. My mother, who is 77, has been having trouble with her
eyes for several months. They get red and puffy, and they just run and run.
The Dr. had prescribed putting Murine in them at first, then a prescription eye
cream, and now the cream and Benadryl. Nothing seems to help.

Also, I've been trying to get her to go see a movement specialist - my answer
was NO. Then I asked her if she would go to a neurologist with me, again, NO.
She gets this determined look on her face, and it's as if she just doesn't want
bothered. Why would she not even want to try?! We have transportation, and
a new neurologist just 20 minutes away! I'm very frustrated. Any ideas?
Should I just make her go? I know there's no way I can truly understand how
she's feeling, but she's always been so strong and determined...I can't see her
NOT wanting to fight this. Any input to her reaction would be appreciated.
