Although I never met Alan, we exchanged many many personal messages. Alan was a special person to the list for the knowledgeable information he passed along but he was a special friend to me. I will not forget his encouragement in my pre and post Pallidotomy stresses, with his help I made it through. I will miss him very much. Chuck joins me in expressing our sorrows to his family.
