I too join the legion of subscribers to the list and express my sorrow of learning of the loss of Alan. Like most of us, I never met Alan, but I felt as though I knew him better than my next door neighbor. I always looked forward to his posting's and I believe I have learned more about my disease and how to treat it than I have from my physicians. Why is it that bad things happen to good people?
