I received the sad news of Alan Bonander's death today. I am devastated. Alan and I go way back. We were among the small vanguard of PWP who helped resurrect pallidotomy. Several of us burned up the e-mail and telephones learning all we could about this procedure. We became good long distance friends. My heart goes out to Alan's wife Jane and their sons.
