Although I have been on the PD-IEN a relatively short time, I too had come to respect and appreciate Alan's contributions. His knowledge, wisdom and humor were priceless and his input will be sorely missed. I extend my sincere sympathy to Alan's wife, family and friends and pray that the God of all comfort would, indeed, comfort, strengthen, and encourage them, and give them His peace, which passes all understanding.
