I just wanted to let you all know that I love the digest option. I'm on 12 lists and if I didn't have the digest option, I would have 500 e-mails a day (I actually did before I learned of it!). Even though you cannot just hit the reply button, you can still reply. You just send a new message to the list. And, if you want to send a response personally to an individual, their address is posted. The other really neat thing about the Digest options is that you can see all the day's traffic on a particular subject in one e-mail. If there is a subject I want to save, I just cut the info out of the digest and paste it into a file. I have several files where I just keep adding information. It works really nice. Cheers!
