Former Mayor of the City of New York, John Lindsay, has agreed to lend his
support to the Parkinson's Unity Walk. Lindsay joins Lynn Redgrave and the
comedy team of Stiller and Meara in an effort to raise awareness about PD and
raise funds for research.

Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara are videotaping a public service announcement
for the Walk that will be carried on local CBS television stations. Radio
talk shows concerning Parkinson's and PSAs are planned to air in conjunction
with the event.

The Parkinson's Unity Walk is scheduled for Sunday, Septemeber 29th in
Riverside Park, NYC. If the date sounds familiar it was intentionally
coordinated with the SUPERWALK FOR PARKINSONS in Canada and similar events in
the U.S. and Europe during the month of September. Let's make this the start
of a true World Wide Walk to cure Parkinson's.

How can you participate? Call 212-580-6505 for more information or E-Mail
Margot Zobel ([log in to unmask]) and Ken Aidekman ([log in to unmask]).

If you live too far away to walk send some brochures to a friend who lives
nearby. When they ask, "Is there anything I can do to help?", tell'em, "Go
take a hike!". (But only after they've sent in their Mo Udall postcard to
Congress.)

Fund the Research.
Find the Cure.
