Make certain that the doctors check on his thyroid functions. I suddenly
lost 30-35 pounds, from 160-165, while I was suffering other medical
problems. My other problems were blamed for this --- I was going out but
fast --- then a simple blood test disclosed that I had a red hot
thyroid. The cure was simple --- two large pills thrice a day, and a
pint of ice cream every day, or more --- with chocolate sauce!
