Dear Folks, This past week, the post-card elves sent out MANY packets of 17 postcards with addressee labels for THE BIG FIVE and committee members of Health & Environment and Labor & Human Resources. Our aim is to make your participation in the mailing blitz as painless as possible. I know that we are all a little bit 'tired' hearing about the cards and lists and sundry. BUT, the goal is certainly worthy of our pushing ourselves to mail just one more set of cards; call just 10 more legislators; make just one more personal visit to plead our case. While we are talking politics, it is NOT TOO EARLY to establish contact with newly aspiring candidates for the House and Senate. Check who is running in your area and educate them about our cause -- we need friends in powerful positions!!
