IMPERMANENCE
Right now in this moment
I'm able to write, pen in
hand. Watching the
words flow --
AND
I'm also aware this too
will change.
Impermanence.
As I watch Bodhi
appreciative Heinz 57 that
she is. I count my blessings
for her gentle loving soul
that graces my life.
I hold this moment
lightly as I hear Mom's words,
"This too shall pass"
Looking at the picture wall.
In my kitchen
I focus on the 13th century
angel print, graced by its ornate
auction found frame
and wonder will I
keep this treasure with my
next simplifying move?
Savoring this moment
as the Buddhist sand
painters teach - enjoy now.
For this too will evolve.
Don't cling,
not to grasp.
Delight in the now!
