Brian Morabito asked me to post this message to the list for him:

On Sunday, September 22, 1996 The Capital Chapter of the National Parkinson
Foundation will be the proud host of the 1st Annual 5K Run/Jog/Walk for
Parkinsons disease in Washington, D.C..

September is an important month for Parkinson's disease in that other cities
here in the U.S. and Canada are also hosting Run/Walks. This is a great
opportunity for each of these areas to create a tremendous amount of
publicity for Parkinson's disease. Please do what you can to support each
of these races and if know of people in the area, push them to attend the
event.

Righ here in Washington, D.C., we are expecting well over a 1000
participants. One being Senator Pell of Rhode Island who has Parkinson's
disease.

It is an important time for support of the Udall Bill. Coming to D.C. and
showing you care is essential. Make a weekend of it and visit your
Congressman and attend the Run/Jog/Walk.

Sunday, September 22, 1996 8:00 a.m. in West Potomac Park, right next to the
Lincoln Memorial. If you have questions please e-mail or call me at
202-466-0550

Thanks.
