While we're on the discussion of PEG tubes, I should reveal a solution to the common problem of *the plugged PEG* (usually plugged because pills haven't been pulverized sufficiently). In the event you experience such an catastrophe, try inserting warm Coke or Pepsi into the tube several times. I don't think we could maintain PEGS on my medical unit without Cola drinks. ----- Regards Mary Ann
