Ken, I can't help you with that specific reference to coffee but how about a
few lines from a song about coffee by that old wild, exciteable boy, Warren
Zevon?  Here goes

I used to drink coffee like you.... It was like being in a well heeled poker
game.  A pot was just openers, THEN you started the betting.  But now, I
rarely have more than a cup a day.  I think the problem is that since there
is no set day or night to my existence anymore, I don't know WHEN to drink
it.  Weird, huh? But no weirder than having a plate of bbq'd rib tips with a
friend and then having to do my Dr. Strangelove imitation in the restaurant
and slowly pry the fingers of my right hand off my fork with my left hand...
