When I joined the Dallas Area Parkinsonism Society earlier this year, I was amazed to find how few members of the group were "wired." I felt then, as I feel now, that my exposure to the internet in general and to this listserv in particular was of great benefit to me and would be equally valuable to most PWP's and their caregivers. I also feel that the greater the number of people using this resource, the better it will become for all of us. Accordingly I decided to write an article for their newsletter that would introduce these people to the treasure trove that I had found. And I did this. But there was so much to say that it wouldn't fit in the newsletter, and we decided to publish it as a separate entity. I would hope that some other support groups could use it as well, and toward this end I would offer a copy of this fifteen page article to others who might want to share it with their members.
